God damn, our ED was way too busy. Very easy to make mistakes and easy to fuck up when you constantly get new patients every 15 minutes or so.
Anyways, it looks like I’m slowly getting pushed to that ‘lead’ position I told you guys about.. I was basically the guy who kept everything under control today, sending people where to go and making sure nothing was missed. I ran all the way to the other departments because we thought we had a missing specimen but it was an RN mistake..
But it feels good to slowly reach that ‘lead’ spot but damn did they make us work a lot…
I kinda don’t want to be a ‘lead’ to be honest…
And it’s mostly ‘bad’ stuff.. But if it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. I’m just there to make sure there’s no fuck ups and that the patients are safe.
